My role at Waterstons is...
Being part of the NOC team, I'm exposed to a range of issues on a day-to-day basis anything from a physical disk failing to issues with an internet service provider affecting internet access.
My proudest Waterstons moment is...
Helping to resolve an issue with a client's head office causing issues with their LAN switches. the problem was down to some incorrect configuration and was only allowing us to access some of their network, from this we gathered information to find what could be causing the issue as well as arranging an on-site engineer. Once the engineer was onsite we already had a plan of action that we carried out and resolved the issue.
My life away from work is...
Spent keeping myself active which includes boxing and weight lifting at my local gym. At the moment I also find myself spending time on my bike, enjoying the outdoors.

We spot an issue that may have not caused any issues yet however, our monitoring allows us to catch potential faults before they happen and resolve the issue without it affecting any of our client's users or infrastructure.
