My role at Waterstons is...
To work with the rest of the team to resolve any issues that are raised by phone or by email. The tickets that I work on vary from day to day and there are always new challenges.
My proudest Waterstons moment is...
The amount of knowledge I've gained in a year, starting with little IT experience with an Engineering degree. I've surprised myself with the rate that I've picked up my skills.
My life away from work is...
Spent enjoying a latest project, whether it be fixing a broken jet wash (a serious matter for someone who is as obsessive with car washing/detailing as I am) or designing and producing improvements for car interiors. From these projects, it is probably obvious that I have an obsession with cars, if anyone gets me onto talking about cars, they could be there for a while. Like most who are interested in IT, I enjoy building and modifying PCs, I like that you can be creative and put your own spin on a build (even if taking a metal file to a brand new PC case that you have just bought is terrifying).
I’ll be with you when...
You call the service desk or raise a ticket with them. I will always be happy to talk on the phone (one of the best parts of the job).
