Waterstons30
On April 1st, 1994, Waterstons was founded with three people - now, there are over 300 of us across the UK and Australia. Throughout the year we will be sharing memories and milestones from the past 30 years, as well as our commitment to raising money for our communities.
Raising £30,000 for charities close to our hearts
For the past three decades, Waterstons has been built on the never wavering values of trust, responsibility, integrity and appreciation. To mark 30 years in business, we are supporting our communities and pledging to raise £30,000 for charitable organisations chosen by our team.
We will be walking, cycling, baking, climbing and so much more in order to raise vital funds for four very special charities.
We're raising money for...
- Man On! Inverclyde
-
which exists to support men in preventing suicide and enhancing wellbeing by providing safe, inclusive, relationship-focused and trauma-informed environments that remove the stigma attached to mental health.
- Brightest Stars
-
a charity that aims to support families and children suffering bereavement and loss.

- St Cuthbert's Hospice
-
a Durham-based specialist care provider for people with life-limiting illnesses, or approaching end-of-life, and their families.
- Alzheimer's Society
-
which is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
We'll keep you updated with the latest activities and events here.
Fundraising challenges
Three Peaks challenge; completed!
On the 4th July the team, along with the amazing support crew, took on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, in all weathers (including snow, in July!) to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, Man On! Inverclyde, Brightest Stars and St Cuthbert's Hospice.
Please show your support by donating to one of our four challenges listed above.
Snowdon Sunrise
We climbed Snowdon...AGAIN!🌄
For the second time this year, a team from Waterstons headed up the highest mountain in Wales at Sunrise - All in aid of our 30th anniversary charity challenge.
They were raising money for St Cuthbert's Hospice who provide specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses and people approaching the end of life as well as supporting their families in difficult times.

30th Celebrations
Client office parties
It's been a summer of celebrations here at Waterstons and we were thrilled to welcome clients to our London and Durham offices to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
With Pac-Man, themed food (can you spot the cheese and pineapple on sticks?), and even a fashion throwback or two, it really was like stepping back into the 90s.
Ain't no party like a tech company party!
Back in May this year, to celebrate 30 years of Waterstons, we partied like it was 1994! Bringing teams together from across the UK, we danced, sang and laughed to hits from arguably the best decade at The Boiler Shop in Newcastle.
