My role at Waterstons is...
Is spent working in the managed services team, mostly in remote services where we are available 24/7 to provide technical support to our clients. We have a big range of clients on the services desk across the sectors so we see a diverse range of problems each day. My favourite part of the role is when we are able to not just reactively solve problems but spot areas for improvement and make things better. I love the fast pace nature, how unpredictable each day is and getting to help so many people. There really is never a dull moment.
My proudest Waterstons moment is...
Every time I can hear the relief in someone's voice when I have resolved a problem in a timely fashion allowing them to meet a deadline. It always feels incredibly rewarding to be able to see the impact you have on somebodies day first hand.
My life away from work is...
I'm a unit leader at the 134th Rainbows girl guiding group. I love having an involvement with my local community and helping provide a safe space for kids to have fun and learn new skills. I also love travelling and planning the next trip away. I've spent one summer working in Ibiza and I also spent another summer interrailing around Europe.
