My role at Waterstons is...
'I'm currently serving as a Senior Service Desk Engineer at Waterstons, where I've been part of the team for two years. Initially starting as a Service Desk Engineer, I quickly progressed into a senior position. My main focus revolves around providing on-site technical support to a major client in the Energy sector, offering escalated infrastructure assistance and leading Business as Usual (BAU) project deliveries.
In addition, I've spent a significant amount of time over the past year working closely with manufacturing clients. This involvement includes assisting with technical deliveries and providing escalated support tailored to their specialised products and infrastructure needs.
Moreover, I am actively seeking opportunities to transition into technical operational management roles. With my experience in providing technical support and project deliverables, coupled with my ongoing pursuit of certifications, I am excited to take on greater responsibilities for Waterstons.
Before joining Waterstons, I gained valuable experience at a data management company in the northeast, which gave me insight into the workings of data warehouses.
Within Waterstons, I play a key role in mentoring junior staff members on the service desk, helping them navigate through technical challenges and supporting their professional development.
Currently, I'm actively working towards various certifications, particularly in the areas of virtualisation and storage technologies.

Somewhat of a passionate ambivert - I love the great outdoors, the excitement of DJing in nightclubs, making music, sound design and going to the gym, but also enjoy some reading and spending time with my dogs.
